About Shelley Alexander
Shelley Alexander qualified as a nutritional therapist in 2004. After studying for 4 years Shelley qualified and started her clinic. It was here that Shelley’s work varied from one – to – one consultations, workshops for local health clubs and Boot Camps.
Shelley is also a Metabolic Balance Coach, a new and innovative way of approaching nutrition for a healthier wellbeing.
Shelley became interested in nutrition in 2000 after becoming ill. A background of working in advertising meant that Shelley was under so much stress. It was then that Shelley started to review her diet and undertook a short nutrition diploma. After making changes to her diet alone, she noticed huge changes in her day to life where it seemed a cloud had been lifted from her head. It was due to this that Shelley decided to pursue her interest and undertook a foundation course for entry on to the BCNH nutrition course.
She is a current member of the BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) and is registered with the government regulatory body, the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council (CNHC). CNHC ensures high standards of training, qualification and insurance, with compulsory continued development to meet the requirements of the governing bodies.
